1. Introduction

Cadigence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Cadigence", "we", "us") operates the Cadigence platform, including the AutoCAD plugin, web dashboard, and associated services. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Cadigence collects the following categories of data:

• Activity metadata: Timestamps of when a drawing file was opened, actively worked on, and closed. This includes active session duration and idle periods.
• Job/drawing identifiers: File names and job codes entered by users or assigned by administrators. No drawing content is ever read or transmitted.
• User account data: Name, email address, role, and firm affiliation provided at registration.
• Approval records: Who approved or rejected a drawing, and when.
• Usage data: Dashboard feature usage, login events, and error logs for product improvement.

Important: Cadigence never reads, copies, or transmits the content of your drawing files. The plugin tracks when files are open and how long they are actively used — it does not inspect or upload any drawing geometry, annotations, or file data.

3. How we use your data

• To provide time tracking, production reporting, and approval workflow features to your firm.
• To generate reports accessible to authorized administrators within your organisation.
• To send transactional emails (trial confirmations, approval notifications, account alerts).
• To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data retention

Activity and approval records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel via multi-factor authentication. We conduct regular security reviews.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@cadigence.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Firm administrators may export all data held for their organisation at any time via the dashboard export feature.

7. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to maintain login state and functional preferences. We may use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand how the dashboard is used. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account administrators by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
